A friend,
is someone,
we turn to for a helping hand.
Someone who can turn a frown into a beautiful smile.
Friendships can come and go,
like waves upon the sand.
A friend will share dreams,
and secrets because they care.
A friend will listen,
with their heart,
and will always be honest with you.
The best of friends will share
a friendship of a lifetime.

I skateboard,

the wind brushing through my hair.

It's an amazing feeling to me.

I feel as if I am soaring through the clouds high above.

I feel free,

like an eagle flying in any direction it wishes.

Like a baby bird in a nest, afraid it might fall from its nest.

I see myself skating into the distance,

I get further and further away,

and everything becomes a blur.

I drift away.
